Why Ziptie
Your number was never meant to be public.
It started as a way for friends to reach you. Now it is the login for every app, the loyalty ID for every shop and the reason you get three loan calls a day.
One number, forty databases.
You hand your number over dozens of times a year. Each place stores it, and most of them share it. You have no way of knowing which one leaked.
The gym
keeps your number in a spreadsheet the front desk emails around.
The shopping app
shares it with the logistics partner, who shares it with the courier's own app.
The pharmacy
types it into a loyalty programme run by a company you have never heard of.
The broadband installer
saves it in his personal phone next to three hundred other customers.
The marketplace listing
shows it to anyone who taps the button, including the people scraping listings.

The idea
Give forms a number you can throw away.
Ziptie is a real +91 mobile number that lives in an app instead of a SIM. You type it into every signup. Every OTP, delivery update and call lands in Ziptie, filed under the company that sent it. Your real number stays with the people who actually know you.
When the spam starts, you burn it. A new number is issued straight away, and Ziptie hands you the short list of places to update.
- Ordinary number
- Banks and apps that reject virtual numbers accept it.
- Sorted by sender
- The code you need is not buried under offers.
- Receive-only
- You can never accidentally call someone from it.
- Replaceable
- ₹199 gets you a fresh one whenever you want.
This is not a burner app.
Burner apps hand out internet numbers that banks and most Indian apps refuse, and they let you make calls, which is how people get into trouble. Ziptie numbers are ordinary mobile numbers, they only receive, and they are tied to a verified account. It is a shield for your real number, not a mask.
