Use cases

Everywhere that asks for a number.

A Ziptie number is not for hiding. It is for the forty ordinary places that need to reach you today and should not be able to reach you forever.

  • Shopping & delivery apps

    The leak
Every order shares your number with a warehouse, a logistics partner and a rider. One of them sells it.
    With Ziptie
Give them your Ziptie number. OTPs and delivery updates arrive sorted by app; the rider rings you inside Ziptie, or on your real phone only if you allow that app through.
  • Gym, clinic & pharmacy signups

    The leak
Front-desk forms end up in spreadsheets and loyalty programmes you never agreed to.
    With Ziptie
Sign up with Ziptie. Renewal reminders and appointment texts still reach you. If the loan calls start the week after, the 'Where you have used it' list tells you who leaked.
  • Marketplace listings

    The leak
Selling a sofa on OLX means publishing your number to anyone who taps it — including scrapers.
    With Ziptie
List with your Ziptie number. Buyers can call you in the app. When the sofa is gone, burn the number and the scrapers are left calling nobody.
  • Broadband, gas & utility installs

    The leak
The installer saves your number in his personal phone, next to three hundred other customers.
    With Ziptie
Hand over Ziptie. Forward just that service to your real phone for the afternoon of the install, then switch it back off.
  • Cab & travel bookings

    The leak
Drivers, hotels and aggregators all keep a copy of your number long after the trip.
    With Ziptie
Book with Ziptie. Driver calls ring in the app; booking confirmations are filed under the service. Nothing follows you home.
  • Anything that asks 'just for verification'

    The leak
Wi-Fi portals, event registrations, contest entries, restaurant waitlists — each one is a leak waiting to happen.
    With Ziptie
Ziptie is the number you give when you would rather not give one. The OTP arrives in four seconds, and you have given away nothing that matters.

And the one thing it is not for.

Ziptie numbers cannot make calls or send texts. They exist to receive. That keeps the number useless for anyone wanting to hide behind it, and keeps it welcome at the banks and apps that reject burner lines.
